I'd totally get the spider doll. Especially if she'll have multiple arms 8) The Daughter of Arachne reminds me alot of hindu goddeses and that's the reason I love her, I really hope she'll make it into production!

I do hope it really is Arachne'd daughter. Her design is really unique and awesome<3
With all of her arms, though, clothes sharing seems impossible :/ Feel free to prove me wrong, Mattel!

A lot of dolls have shirts and dresses without sleeves, though (DDG Lagoona, Abbey's new dress in that I <3 Fashion set, etc).

SO EXCITE! Daughter of Arachne DID have a very strong cowboy theme, so Wydowna Spider definitely makes sense! Or at the very least it's better than the name I came up with for her. ^^;

True. I guess it all boils down to how the extra arms attach (my memory is a bit fuzzy atm , so I can't quite recall how they looked in her promo picture)

Speaking of her country theme, I wonder what her pet is? I would image it's something you'd find on a ranch, but with a twist.

This.This.This.

I was truly bummed to learn that Scarah Screams became the con-doll, when there was one with MULTIPLE ARMS up for vote as well, since Scarah just seems so bland and boring in comparison. :P
But even better now if this is true and she's a regular release. MUCH easier and cheaper to get that way. I'm happy. ^^

From Monster high forum:

On Monday, June 25, 2012, a U.S. federal trademark registration number 85660649 was filed for WYDOWNA SPIDER by MATTEL, INC. with the description DOLLS, DOLL CLOTHING AND DOLL ACCESSORIES.

http://www.monsterhighdolls.com/forum/topics/finally-a-trademark-for-daughter-of-arachne

Daughter of Arachne? ;)

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR SHARING! I'm about to cry!!!!!! I hope she remains with black skin and red hair! OMG, I cannot wait. This is the best news I've heard in ages!!!!

Additionally, correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the first monster to be named after a celebrity, right? You just know they TOTALLY decided on that after seeing my Dita Von Honeycomb for ANTM!!!! hehe

Yea, when I first heard about Threaderella, I was so hopeful. But instead of turning out to be a six-armed black spider, it was Frankie as....Cinderella. But I'm hopeful again this time around!

We just never learn. XD But! I think this one sounds way more promising! She actually has spider in her name!

So I just searched on ebay, and instead I got a result for 'Chicks and Monsters'. It's a comic with a vamp on front - picture Lala in pigtails, bat wings, a dog collar, black boots and skimpy lingerie!  It sounds rather interesting actually...

Haha, I'm having a flu right now, but I still bravely went up the attic. I'm searching for Bratz clothing for Rochelle and Frankie!

Does anyone know of shoes/clothing from other dolls that might work?

I'm pretty sure that the only people who have posted owner photos of them have obtained theirs from an inside source, like a relative or friend who works for Mattel. I imagine that they'll be out any time now though. :)
