Pixel, the best hammy EVER!

There are not many hamsters in the world that, when you go into the room to turn the light on in the morning, will rush to wake himself up and as fast as he can while half asleep clamber over to the cage door trying to get there in time to see you before you walk away. I love my little Pixel.

(Please ignore the bit of bedding in his head fluff, I removed it about 10 seconds later. His hair is so fluffy, there is new bedding stuck in it that needs removing most mornings.)

He usually has a sprig of fluff on either side of his head too, but it keeps getting trimmed off because the bedding gets tangled in it. I love male longhaired Syrians. They are just so fluffy!

LOL Yes he kinda does! And his name came from a book series I read as a kid called Diadem. No real reason, I just always thought it was a neat name and it popped into my head when I was trying to come up with a name for him.

My Pumpkin wakes up when I come into the room, as well. some years before I had her, I had a dwarf who did that when I got home from school.
Hamsters are fantastic pets^^ and totally underrated.
