Got my Axolotl!

So excited for you! Despite my pronounced lack of affection for anything without fur, these guys are really very cute. They have like a wall of 10-20 of them here at the science center and I had a lot of fun looking at them. They didn't seem hard to care for, they just kind of floated around looking cute in their little tanks xD I definitely like the coloration you're getting better! I'm glad he's going to a good, informed owner

AHH! My axolotl is less than a half hour away (Just left Medford, Oregon, which is about 30 miles south of GP)! I might get it today!

I think they are one of the cutest animals ever!!! unfortunately,  I have no luck with tanks whatsoever, so I will never have one of these cuties. Congrats on your new family member!

Axies are great! Just keep it cool and it'll be a happy camper. If I recall correctly axies are pretty long lived, so you should have many happy years with yours. As for the name, I'm a big Acid Bath fan, so that's my vote!

I had a Guinea pig who I called Sir Lancelot hihi he was Silver Agouti so it looked like he had an armor

just as Tribble79 said, one of the cutest little guys out there ever ^^ just look at that smile... how could anyone resist that smile? :3
I wish they were introduced to our markets as pets sooner... back when I was living with my parents I always had animals, and I would have loved to have these... however, the first time I ever saw them being sold in shops were when I was already living with my boyfriend, and now I'm not in a situation that is good for keeping an animal. according to the rental contract we are not allowed to have pets here - although I think this would be the smaller problem, as I assume it mainly refers to cats or dogs. the bigger problem is that we are away for a couple of days way too often (for instance, my boyfriend's from another city which isn't in the nearby, so if we go and visit his parents we always stay there 3 or even 4 days, there would be no use going for a day or two, because travelling basically eats up a whole day), and whereas when I was living with my parents everytime I was away I could ask someone to feed the pets for me, now I can't really ask anyone...

oh well, maybe someday...

EEE! He's here! I'M so so happy, he's the cutest little guy ever. he has adorable little freckles on his nose! I'm keeping him in a small temporary container until his tank is finished cycling(sorry for the poor pictures, I don't have a very good camera)

So far it seems like he mostly just sits around, although some times he starts swimming around for a while. And when i come look at the tank, he swims to the side and looks back at me!! Eee! c:

Awww he's a cutie patootie.
We had a few of these at college, they're fun to feed. We had two black ones and a white one but by the end of it we only had one left (A black one I think)
