Now I like historical novels (not so much the mooshy romance ones, but gritty ones), yay! I'm interested to hear what a bonafide history teacher (to be) might recommend?
Oh, there are a few good historical novels, I don't know if you know them, but I can absolutely recommend the books from Ken Follett, especially "The Pillars of the Earth" and "World without end".
