Webcomics?
« on: June 19, 2012, 12:11:36 PM »
I love comics, but I haven't really gotten into webcomics yet, do you have any you'd like to recommend?

I'm open to any style of drawing, and I don't mind adult content, as long as there is NO rape/pedofilia.

So feel free to post your personal faves!

Oh, Humon. She's pretty neat, but she covers alternate sexualities and relationships, and I know some people aren't into or approve of that, so just fair warning.

I'm currently reading Awkward Zombie (video games), That Deaf Guy (about a Deaf man's life), F@NB0Y$ (video games), Hejibits (more video games) and Altermeta (anthro teen dragons).

I used to read a LOT more, but then I sort of fell out with them. What sort of comics do you want to read about? That'll help us give you recommendations.

XKCD and Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal are really intellectual and make you think.

I've been following a pretty neat comic for the last few years. It's been revamped twice as the artist realised the story would have run too long and would have taken too long to draw out.

It's called Code Name: Hunter it's bascially an anthro fantasy comic which is set in a alternative version of earth where magic exists, it was sealed away but then in WW2 it was unleashed again which caused the formation of a goverment agency tasked with keeping things in check. It's in the middle of a rather interesting plot right now involving a fae treaty.

Broken Plot Device is about the only web comic I still read nowadays.  A lot of my old favorites ended, sadly.

My ultimate favorite webcomic:
Toilet Genie (Story of the Door series). The artist has been crazy busy, but she still updates when she can and her art style is to die for. This one is safe for teenagers. There is no violence, adult language or adult themes.

I also love Knights Errant (some language and adult humor, nothing excessive), Winters in Lavelle (this one is safe for all ages), Strays (safe for most ages, some fighting), The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal (homosexual theme), Teahouse (homosexual themes), Starfighter (homosexual themes), Chimneyspeak (lots of violence, adult themes), Oglaf (adult themes all over the place, very sexual in nature) and FindChaos (violent overtones, darker story).
