Ok, trying to find My Little Pony the Complete First Season on DVD for my daughters. This is turning into a nightmare to find this. I come across DVD sale sites saying they have it in stock and then weeks latter they refund money saying they don't have it...ugh. anyone got one interested in selling it or know where I can get it?

Try ebay? Personally I find ebay a pain to deal with most of the time, but I will be the first to admit there's some items you just can't get anywhere else...

Yeah I think that company shut down, I was told the suppliers do not have any copies and are unable to get one...I tried looking at the rhino media website but it won't load for me....

I found my copy at Entertainmart.  Basically a big used/preowned DVD (and other media) shop.  You may have luck scouring places like that - Movie Trading Company, etc.

That stinks that it is so hard to get now. I forget where i got mine. Probably Amazon. The pink box has all of season 1 i think.  Then there are two additional dvds to round out the series. Correct me please if I am wrong?

Yes the pink box was all of season 1, and two made-for-tv specials. There were two additional dvd's that made up the episodes of the second season. (Plus another one for the full-length movie!)

It's pretty much impossible to find nowadays. Amazon "sells" it for $100+. It might just be easier to buy the single DVDs or show your girls it from YouTube.

Target.com has it for $38.99 . I think Walmart and some other online places have it too. Online is pretty much the only way to get it.

Checked Walmart, target, Barnes and noble...all out of stock. Only person selling on amazon is selling it for a grand.

It turns up on ebay with reasonable regularity - I think there is a set on just now which is around the $20 mark....

Ok tried ordering from amazon, last time I did it though they ended up refunding because they did not have it...keep my fingers crossed.

I'm pretty sure I saw a FiM dvd recently at one of the walmarts in my area.. I need to check to see what is on the dvd though
