I'm engaged!

After 4 and a half years, my boyfriend has proposed!  We are both super happy and excited.  No idea when the wedding will be (I was shocked last night, and have hardly had time to think!) but enjoying visiting my family and showing off the shiny! <3

Hehehe, thanks everyone!  The only picture I have is a crummy one on my phone, which doesn't connect to the internet, but as soon as I get a good one, I'll post it!  Until then, it's a white gold filigree 1920s antique ring with an old mine cut center diamond with a marquise cut sapphire accent on each side.  And I love it!

He was very cute.  We went for a bike ride in a local park and then had a nice dinner at a restaurant we both really like.  After that, we went home and were just snuggled up watching tv and he asked me.  I was so surprised I didn't even say anything at first!

So the ring is getting some minor repairs (totally normal in a ring that's nearly 100 years old!) and I am without it for a little while.  I'm thinking of getting one from a quarter machine to wear until then (and when I work in the field).
