I also was totally going for small treats like candy and stickers too! Being my first swap, I really want this to be a great one for my partners - don't want to disappoint anyone, but also want to spoil them too!

ND, that's why you buy candy that can be opened up and sprinkled among the ponies like styrofoam peanuts.    Pics!  Gotta take some soon.  After itty bitty gets sealed that is.

Little, individually wrapped candies work well in that instance. Peppermint drops, butterscotch discs, Hershey kisses and hugs, etc.

I tend to include little souvenirs from Chicago since it's a huge tourist destination. So pretty postcards and things may make their way into my partner's box. I may also take their ponies with me to the Ren Faire and take pictures of her there, and included them, just to be cute.

I love souvenirs and touristy stuff (Probably why I love the traveling ponies ) The few swaps I've been in had really different extras. I LOVED all of them. One partner drew me some pony bookmarks and a card with some of my favorite ponies on it. Cheap and small to ship.

I forgot notes in my first swap boxes too, NoD. I just get so excited!! I have a shelf now where I stick a post-it on the spot with my swap partner's name and as I accumulate extras for them and supplies and baits I stash them all there so when I go to pack up I forget less stuff. Also, having partners that went the extra mile has really set a standard I want to aim for in the future (current) swaps I'm in. SO many great ideas.

I got to looking at my pony and just realized that she needs a ribbon in her tail, g1 style.

What are some extras that people love to receive?

For me...anything but no Licorice (Yuck  )  Pony accessories, Stickers, Stationary/postcards/pencils...things like that are great!  Oh and for the artist out there, I keep drawings that others send me and put up with my ponies.

I don't like mint, but Skittles, Starbursts, Gummi Bears and other chewy candy always makes me happy.  I love little homemade trinkets:)  No worries about going crazy, I will probably only include candy and a few small goodies.

I always mark my rehairs so that somewhere down the line, no one gets duped into thinking it's some kind of a variant. I just put my initials and the word rehair on the bottoms of one hoof, usually with a very fine point sharpie.

Basically any small wrapped candy will get eaten here.  Drawings, postcards, etc.  Oh, it's generally 90-100 degrees here ATM.  Chocolate would not survive.

I love all kinds of extras. I myself am really bad with sending extras, almost always forgetting them.

No worries!  I'm sure everyone is expecting a small package with a pony inside:)
