Ponycon's Conbook needs YOU!!!

~*~ Ponycon 2012 Conbook Submissions ~*~

Hi there guys
Some of you may remember last year we had a nifty little conbook for you all to look at containing a few puzzles plus the auction and event details. Well this year we think we can do better. But to do that we need your help guys
What we want to see is your fanart, comics, puzzles (with answers please), even articles you might have written with regards to ponies. This does include coming up with a cover for the conbook itself.
Now remember the theme this year is Royalty so there may be a slight bias towards items that feature this theme, but thats not to say that other things won't be included. Anything and everything to do with ponies is welcome from any generation *cough*Bonus points from Archer for Pony stuff *cough* ???
I'm sure I don't have to say this, but keep things G rated guys ^_~
As for submission formats. All submissions must follow these formats to make sure everything is presented nicely
All artwork must be about 300 DPI just so we get nice quality stuff. Anything to be for the frontcover must be portrait and be able to fit on an A sized piece of paper (A4, A5 etc....still working on the actual size of the conbook)
Comics must be one page in length unless they're really good then we'll see about two, but seriously, don't rewrite a whole manga series here. Keep them short but good. And make them funny, funny is always good.
Articles must be about no more than 600 words in length. Again we'd prefer it to be less to give us more of a chance of showcasing people's work. And please submit it in a word file so we can open it
All work submitted MUST be your own. I cannot stress this enough. These days there is a lot of awesome pony fan art out there so don't just rip someone else off. Submit your own stuff.

Deadline: July 31st

That gives you all loads of time to come up with some really nice stuff and enough time for us to put it all together for you Ponycon has always been about you guys the attendees and we'd love this chance to showcase what you can all do. Obviously not everything submitted will make it in, but what doesn't get in, we'll see if we can display it somewhere on the day. So have a go guys Seriously what do you have to lose

Sounds great! Its competitions like this as well as the amazing art people come up with which may me which I had even a little bit of creative talent ....I cant wait to be able to see the finished article.

Ooh, I've been wanting to write an article about FiM and the characterisation of the mane 6 for ages! Would that be something that would be considered?
