Hey there, Everypony -

I'm a newbie collector and am so happy to have found this site!
A little about me? Okay!

WHO AM I???
I'm a 27 year old mama of three precious little ones (my honey bunches) and wife to an amazingly supportive husband who balances me beautifully.

Where am I?
I live a small town about 40 minutes outside of Seattle and love the peace out here.

What's my Job?
Other than being a stay at home parent, I am an independent contractor in R&D for a gourmet food manufacturer and am starting an eBay business for pony sales and more.

What do I Enjoy?
Having grown up in pinot wine country, I love good wine! And good food. And good food with good wine. And good wine cooked into the good food.     ^.^  And ponies, of course! I enjoying shopping, treasure hunting, espresso, and art for my home. Or someone else's home.

Why and How did I start Collecting?
I loved my ponies when I was little and am devestated that I tossed them! My two absolute favorite were Star Dancer (fave bathtime pal) and Strawberry Fair / Sugarberry. So, for Christmas last year Santa brought a Star Dancer for my older daughter (and me)!

So, what started my grown-up facination?
My mother stumbled upon an large lot of ponies at a rummage sale and picked them up for my daughters (for a Song!). In the mix was a perfectly styled, near-mint Winter Minty. I fell in love. I just had to know more about her! So, I went online and was thrilled to discover the community surrounding ponies. Now, I am constantly on the lookout for ponies to add to our collection or to someone else'. I adore the find, and the process of cleaning and styling the little beauties for their new homes!

My Collection?
Personally, we (the kiddos and I) collect G3s and Ponyville. I collect a few G1s, and am on the hunt for a Strawberry Fair / Sugarberry in very nice condition. Since I only really started collecting this May (uh, last month) there's not much to speak of right now. So... a Wish List is in order!

Hello and welcome!  I have a good friend who lives in a small town southeast of Seattle - it's so beautiful out there.

It's great your mother picked up that box of ponies and re-kindled your childhood memories of them.  I am sure you will have lots of fun her collecting for you and your daughters :frolic:

My daughters are age three years and three months. And my son is four... and very much in to ponies as well. He's always wanting to know the names of the ponies I find.
