Happy Family ~ Spike, Rarity & the Kids

I know the idea of a Grown Up Spike and Rarity has been done before, but I wanted to put my little spin on it.  To me, Spike is an Asian Dragon especially with his love of mustaches!  I had the entire idea for this about a month ago but didn't get to put it on paper until a few days ago.

It shows Spike and Rarity in a loving embrace with their 6 unruly children surrounding them.  It's kind of hard to see in this version, but the little one up front that crouching down is using her horn to magick-up some wings for her brother beside her.  The flying one on the left is giving his sister a wet willy with his tail and the one on the bottom right is blowing fire on her sister's butt as she hangs onto Spike's tail.

I'm *desperately* hoping to have this finished for BroNYcon in two weeks!  The final will be 11" x 14" in my usual prismacolor markers and colored pencils.

That is ridiculously awesome.  I cannot wait to see this finished.  I love how the babes all have different attributes of both parents.  Great work I am going to be keeping an eye on this one.  You can finish in time!

Those dragon-pony babies are too cute! I hope you will uploads the finished version here on the forum too, I would so adore to see this in color!

Oh yeah, I'll definitely upload as soon as I'm done.  The babies will done in various shades of purples, whites and greens.

Wow, that is so detailed. Very creative! I like how some look more like dragons and other children look more like ponies. Maybe there will be a new race of dragon pony hybrids, like kirins. ^^

Thanks so much everyone!  It's actually coming along faster than I had anticipated.  The markers are finished off for Spike and rarity and I'm almost done with one of the babies.  If all goes well, I could have this finished by the end of the week!

wow, great work as usual! but as i looked at it first, i thought of discord instead of spike. *lol* but i bet this will change with the coloring. will you post the colored version here? i´m sure it will look pretty awesome!
