I'm adopting a kitten! Update 1st post =(

I'm adopting a cute Siamese mix kitten today from my local animal shelter! It's a little boy and I need your help naming him. My last Siamese was named Momo. He passed away last month; I'd had him for 15 years. I really miss his constant vocalizations, anyone who's ever had a Siamese knows they talk a lot! I feel like I'm ready for a new kitten, but I can't think of a good name for him. They call him Booger at the shelter (terrible!) but when I look at him I want to call him Silver, even though he's a seal point and there's nothing silver about him. * well, I ended up not getting him. After I called the shelter to tell them I was on my way!! to get him, once I got there he was gone. Some rescue organization pulled all the kittens from the shelter to take to some pet adoption event in another city . I was so upset! I asked why didn't they hold him for me? The lady just said it was first come, first serve. I hope he finds a loving home; I hope they all do! In the meantime I'll keep looking.

No ideas atm, will ask DD when she gets home.  I totally understand the whole Siamese thing.  My youngest is part, although you can only see it in body shape and voice.  And voice she has.  My Tonkinese is a chatterbox as well when she desires.  Gotta love them!  Good luck with your baby, he's adorable!

Oh wow, what a stunner! He has such a lovely shape to him, if I can say that without sounding creepy .

When I see him I think Nero or Charlie. Possibly Otis or Otto. Maybe Lune? His eyes are marvelous, so I almost think he should be named for them, but I'm shot for ideas as far as that goes.

I like Charlie! My other cat's name is Simon, so Charlie would sound good with that. Nero is a cool name too.

I have a thing for complicated pet names, so I'll pass on suggestions. But AWW!!! He is sooo cute!

Booger is a stupid name. That poor kitty. That's simply insulting to him!

I second the suggestion of 'Nero', I'm also thinking of Ancient god names for him.. he looks like a classy, regal kitty. Zeus, Hades or Juno?

My dog's name is Zeus. Hmmm... He's a Siamese, so maybe an Asian Mythology god's name. I'll have to look them up!

I just want to say that you´re wonderful for adopting a kitten Especially after losing your long-term beloved pet I know how hard it can be

I think Silver is a wonderful name for a kitty i´ve always only had female pets (as it happens) so I´m a bit lost on male names. Ultimately, in my case at least, it doesn't matter as poor animals always end up with lame nicknames
