I'm so glad I typically don't buy duplicate characters, other than Ghoulia and Draculaura.  Makes it easier to say "NO!" to most of the Ghouls Rule and other new releases.  I'm just excited for the new character dolls. 

That's what I typically try to tell myself too. Every now and then I'll cave and get a character I already have, but it's been few and far between. It takes a lot of pressure off of looking for new items when I can just focus on the new ghouls. The day Mattel starts overloading us on new students is the day I start seriously freaking out. 

I love Rochelle's outfit in the Scaris lineup and Skelitas and Jinafire are to die for! While I've seen so many gorgeous and unique photos of what others have done with them, I just can't get into the CAM's, so I'm so happy we're getting some of the species from those sets in signature doll form that we didn't have before.

I'm pretty good about sticking with one of each girl. Unless they come out with a version of them I like a lot though. I do have two Ghoulia's but that's just because I got the GB pack.

OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG!!!! Dropping the F-bomb so much just seeing these! So glad no one is home right now to hear this. OMFG!!!! I Gotta have Jinafire Long and Skelita Calaveras!! They will be mine...Oh yes, they will be mine.

I'm guessing these will be set for fall/winter of this year? Or are these gonna be released by 2013??

I also want that Spectra!!

I actually like the skeleton girl,she reminds me of a Dios De Meurtos Sugarskull.Really hope I'm spelling that right...

It's Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the dead) And yeah she's obviously modeled after the holiday decorations which are always really intricate and colorful. I for one really love her, I've done some artwork in this style before and it was really fun to do.

Hmm going back and looking at the Alive dolls...maybe I can convince myself to pass on them. The feature I love most about these dolls is the eyes and Clawdeens are all weird since they blink. I also don't think she or Spectra will be fully jointed, especially Spectra. It looks like her arms/legs will be stationary since wiring has to be run through them so joints would be an issue.

My DotD Lagoona seaweed inspired rehair is nearly complete, I just have to finish unwinding some of the wool in the back of her head. She had bad glue seepage and her hair was bad to begin with, once she's complete I'm going to sew her a matching seamonster style dress, borrow my sisters camera and take some nicer photos. Unfortunatly my camera decided to die completely a couple of days ago.
