Mismatched Applejack

I got my Applejack and Star Dreams sleep over set today and the first thing I noticed was how mismatched Applejack's head and body was. I've seen this on other ponies before, like Twilight Sparkle and Feathermay, but never on Applejack. She also got red and green color on her right flank. It really annoys me how bad quality the G4s are. You shouldn't need to worry about not getting a mint toy when it's new. :/ I'm glad it wasn't Star Dreams who was mismatched though. I already have 3 other Applejacks. Might use her for custom. Or sell her for custom. (Anyone interested?)

Hmm, you could actually send her back with a complaint to Hasbro. They've given other members complimentary apology ponies, maybe they'd do the same for you.. and someday they might actually realise that we don't like shoddy quality.

I thought it would have to be worse than that to get complimentary, but it doesn't hurt try I guess.

That stinks! I know what you mean, my Snowcatcher and Cherry Pie are a bit off in the body color.

I don't understand why they're using different plastics for the head and body. Money may be a factor, yes, but why waste it on the obviously higher-quality plastic for the head and instead find a cheaper plastic for the whole dang pony? Seriously Hasbro, get your shizz together.

Hmmm.... seems to me that it's quite a common problem with Applejack. I've already seen two internet auctions, where someone selling mismatched I'm not really surprised... the way G4s are being so mass-produced it's bound to happen that many of those ponies come as they are, with loads of different problems.

Gosh! I know just about every single G4 has a body/head match issue but thats certainly the worst I have seen for AppleJack!

That looks like a major mismatch!! I would complain to Hasbro too.

Wow I have never seen an AJ mismatched that badly D:

LPS uses different plastic for their heads and bodies (they feel just like MLP's), I wonder why those aren't as poorly mismatched?

It keeps getting worse and worse. I would send an email to Hasbro. I did before and they sent me another pony and let me keep the damaged one (which I used to make a custom).
I feel like we should be telling Hasbro about these issues and how displeased we are with the quality.

I told Hasbro about the glue gunk on my Celestia and nothing has come of it. :/

I'm not as bothered by factory defects in my ponies as others, I guess, but man.

I know Twilight Sparkle has this issue, but wow that's a lot more noticeable than I've seen for any G4 AJ!
Poor thing... If you're needing one for a custom then she'd be the perfect bait for it. ): I agree with contacting them and showing them the photo. x__x
