Why don't they have another pose for BB Pegasus?

This question has been bugging me for a while... In Blind Bags, they only have 4 poses (5 molds) for the waves up till the 3rd wave (when they started to add boys).


I was looking through them and noticed something... They have 2 poses for Unicorns (Twilight Sparkle's pose and Rarity's pose) and 2 poses for Earth (Pinkie Pie's pose and Apple Jack's pose). However, Pegasus ponies only have one pose (Rainbow Dash's pose)... Even Fluttershy is in this pose... so why do you think they opted to not have a 2nd pose for Pegasus?


Note: I say AJ's pose and RD's pose are nearly the same pose, which is why I say 4 poses (5 molds). There is only a few subtle differences if you look close enough and not look at the fact that they have different hair styles and one has wings... But if you don't look close enough, they both look the same just with some mold differences...

I agree with you. Fluttershy looks ridiculous with that short, spiky hair. They should have done a Fluttershy pose with long, pretty hair.

I was wondering about this too. Especially wish they would have given fluttershy her own hair mold type at least.


My guess it's probably a way to save money, but still, it's a shame

Probably so... but still with how much they are producing you'd think making one more pose for the Pegasus wouldn't kill them.. Esp. since they started doing boys and gave the Princesses their own pose in a later wave...

A guy from the local brony group said he figured it would be awkward to mold Fluttershy's hair style at such a small scale and wouldn't be versatile for the recolors. Even should those be the reasons, they still need a 2nd pegasus pose and even non-descript long hair would be better than Dash's style :/ The farther they go with the line, the more identical the pegasai are going to become.

It certainly would have made most sense to have 2 for each - allows them a little more flexibility but I do also understand them giving the pegasus a pose which makes them look ready to fly works well and there arent many other options to have that effect [although a pose similar to the "flying" G1 pose that WindWhistler, Paradise and Bouncy are in would have also been fantastic and worked for the flying theme!]

These little guys probably cost less than pennies to make each so as much as the answer must be "because it makes more financial sense to make 5 moulds rather than 6" it would still have been much nicer if a little more effort was made! Especially considering how popular these guys have been.

I would love a second pose for pegasi, if only for symmetry's sake! With the others you have one facing in each direction, but with all the pegasi being in the same pose, they all face the same way, and that drives me up the wall, lol.

I think a pose that was similar to one of the 'flying' G3s would have worked too. And I think I've seen people do Fluttershy style hair on BBs in the customs so it's not 100% impossible, even if they make it a bit shorter. The fact they could do Rarity's style means the likely could do Fluttershy's too..

I have to agree with LadyGuinevere on the direction the poses face...
