What does the number under my G3 Starswirl's hoof mean?

So I was looking over my G3 Starswirl, and noticed it had a '75' stamped under its left forehoof.  Do any of yours have this peculiarity, and what does it mean?

It's just a factory mold number. It doesn't mean much. Many toys have them.

Aww!  Nuts!  I was totally chanting "release number" under my breath!

Release number would have been great...how cool if they had numbered every single Cotton Candy in the world as she came out of the factory either individually or in batches...wouldnt you just want to collect a Cotton Candy army with as many different numbers as possible [or that could be my own obsessiveness].

But as MsTwilight says its just a manufacturing reference.

Oh god no.  Then I would live in a giant palace of pony!    I quite like the knowledge that there are millions of Cotton Candy's out there and I only have a few...  to number them would be to put me on a never-ending quest!
