Hairless Super Long Hair Cheerilee 3.5

Hi everyone,


Recently I got a pony lot from eBay and a couple were in pretty good shape so I decided to just clean them up and add them to my collection. I came across two 3.5 ponies and I went on to identify one of them as Cheerilee with super long hair. She's supposed to look like this:

She's not really in bait condition (minus the lack of mane of course) but I just wanted to know what I could possibly do to restore the hair. I am willing to buy hanks from Dollyhair but I'm so helpless that I have no idea what colors to buy them in or what length the hair was originally, let alone how to curl/attach it to the hair ties.   Please bear with me as I am new to MLP collecting!

I believe her hair extensions came in little "caps" which slotted into the 2 holes in her head - I am not sure how you could go about "re-hairing" her I think it will probably only work with the actual hair extensions.

You may have more luck actually trying to buy replacement extensions - maybe posting in the want forum and someone may have some for sale or trade - you never know!

Otherwise I hope someone comes along with a more creative solution for you.

Hmm, you'd need to get the hair into little caps so they slot in. Make the hair hank, wrap well with something, dip in glue, repeat til the right size?

I think I still have the parts that go into her hair... I removed the molded plastic off the hair on mine for to make new hair for her later. I just need to find what I still have left


Edit: I found all the hair extensions that came with mine, the only thing I don't have is the comb xD

I scrounged around on Dollyhair and found that a mix of Pink Sugar, Heartthrob and Hot Lips would match the colors on her tail, but I've never seen these colors in person and I'm not entirely sure how trustable the pictures are. :I

Do you have a G4 Cheerilee to compare her to? If her tail colour's the same, you'll want Pussycat for the light pink instead of Pink Sugar.

Actually, I have her super long pigtails, and the plastic ones, just missing the short pigtails.  Even have the comb that came with her.     I don't I have the pony anymore. Sold her on thinking I'd lost them, but recently ran across them. If you want them, their yours.  All I ask is that you cover the shipping. Just shoot me a PM.

Hm. I don't have a G4 Cheerilee but I think Pussycat looked a bit too shiny. Maybe I'll get both Pussycat and Pink Sugar since I need something of their color for a custom project.

I was almost scared to open this thread incase I saw the horrific sight of a bald g3.5 But thank goodness she's not that bad.

I think she looks pretty neat as she is!
