Popular Ponies You Just Don't Care as Much For

Rapunzel, and the Nirvana ponies. (Well, I thought about getting the Dutch Butterfly pony, but then I realized she's so simple I could make a custom of her just as well and make her a little more exciting. Her colors are sort of... bland)

Oh, and the original 6 I don't really care for. Not because of them, but because I hate the Collector's Pose.

In all honesty - there arent any ponies that I dislike - sorry to be the only one in the thread to say so - there are some I maybe dont love as much as others [piggys being a case in point] but I dont dislike any! Any pony is welcome at Castle Hathorcat!

I have to say Rapunzel.  She goes for SO much money, and I'm just like..."Really, now?"  I'm not sure what it is, but I'm just not as drawn to her as others seem to be.  Maybe it's the pose?  I've never been fond of the Quackers pose.  But at the same time, I ADORE plenty of ponies in that pose.  Maybe it's the pink?  But there are more pink ponies than I could shake a stick at, and I love them.  Meh, I have absolutely no idea, but I just don't find her all that special. 
LOL I had said earlier I thought I was the only one not enamored with her, but apparently there are quite a few people who can understand, lol.

But I hopped on the bandwagon and I love Seaponies, Flutters, Wingers and Mimic especially.

Add another one to the list for Rapunzel. There are tons of more comon ponies that I would rather pay insane prices for.

It's due to the show, but I just can't bring myself to get any sort of G4 Pinkie Pie. She is most definately my least favorite of the main ponies. If I didn't love rainbow ponies so much it'd be the same with Rainbow Dash.

Adult Sea Ponies! Yuck. I just don't like them. The babies are kind of cute and as a kid I really liked them but the adults are jest.. ehhhh.

Non-Movie Firefly - Really don't like the open-mouthed pose.  They're like the pony version of Kristen Stewart.

 

G1 Munchy

oo, yeah, I have a problem with her I love her colours though but all those burgers and hot dogs are a bit, um, yeah what the hell?

I had zero interest in owning Muchy until I happened upon her and then I realized she's actually pretty cute.  I think she might be one of those ponies you have to own to understand the appeal.

To add to the list of popular ponies I don't care for - pretty much any pony in the collector's pose or Sundance's pose.  Those poses just kill it for me; they look so sad.

G4 ponies with the hair. I really dislike them. I know so many people love them.  I love the blind bag G4's. I also really don't like the fashion style ponies either from the G4 line.  Their heads just look so odd to me.  As far as G1 ponies...well...I dislike the color swirl ponies or the Merry Go Round ponies....Oh and I don't care for any G2's at all.  I loved G3, but not fond of G3.5 or the baby things they made before G4.  I can say though I totally respect others loving the ponies they like.  I understand what it means to be drawn to a pony and if people love G3.5 or G4 I am all for it for them.  I would enjoy reading their threads and viewing their photos. I would support any pony someone loved. This is just for myself.

Dancing Butterflies. I see a lot of people that seem to like her and she is one of the more popular TAF ponies. I adore yellow ponies, but I think her colors look really yucky.

AND I don't like ANYTHING other than G1s (cheaper too!!)

I do not like Twinkle-eye ponies.  Any that I've gotten in bait lots I've given away because they look soulless and creepy to me.  Also not a fan of the beddy-bye eyes or first tooth babies, although I do love the regular G1 baby ponies.

I don't get the appeal of Mimic or the other highly-sought-after ponies.  I do love some of the colors of the Nirvana ponies, but I couldn't bring myself to pay so much for them.

I haven't been able to look at the "collector pose" the same way since my husband termed it the "pooping pony pose".

i have to confess, i've never quite gotten the extreme fondness for gusty.

and about sea ponies, mr kaninchen calls them "arturian ponies"... me thinks he's read Geek Love too much.

I'm not big on Repunzle she's a nice looking pony don't get me wrong but I look at her and go "Meh it's another pink one." so she doesn't trill me
