I just picked up a couple of the new dolls!

There are some MAJOR improvements!  The dolls fit much much much better into their stands- the feet and stands are redesigned.

The hip joints are more flexible too- and the arms don't pop out anymore.  The Robot looking dolls (Hair Coils) are taller than a standard Novi-  they seem to be deluxe dolls- they come with cool hair accessories (and of course a comb and a pet).  Their hair is really neat...

Ina Ferna and that Frosty looking chick look to be more of a basic doll- with a smaller box and no pet.  The packaging is smaller than a typical Novi.   I haven't seen a Super Nova doll yet...

thank you to to whomever mentioned justice! i'd been eying these girls for months but not quite willing for one reason or another to pick any up. but for that price....okay, i'll take all four of the first wave.

I noticed the clearance price went from $4.19 to $5.99- so maybe the $4.19 was a mistake.  Still, $5.99 is still a ridiculously good price for these.  I notice that Justice doesn't have any of the new dolls though

I bought Una Verse today, just because I wanted to give a critique of the doll and see if it's wise to make future purchases of the Novi Stars lines.

My Verdict. I would gobble these dolls up. If they were not 30.00 AUD. 15 maybe, but not 30. These dolls are just too small, lack articulation, have such course and poor quality hair (at least my Una does) and the parts just fall off (I hear some of these are fixed in future lines). however, thy have amazing eyes, beautiful colours, neat pets, cute gimmicks and are just such a wonderful idea that I love 'em, but are just way to overpriced considering.

I think I'm going to fall for the Cyborg dolls.  They're wonderful to look at.  Make more please!
