Does anyone have any fixes for eyelashes?

I wasn't very careful with them during my move, and a couple of my girls have smooched or crooked eyelashes now

Any ideas?

I would try using an eyelash curler; the Novi Star lashes are long enough that a human-sized tool should work.  If you don't have an eyelash curler already, you can get one in the beauty supply section of pretty much any store, for less than $10.  Just don't squeeze it too tight when you're trying to fix the doll lashes, or it could crimp them - use gentle-ish pressure along the whole length of the lashes to get a nice curl.  If the doll lashes still don't behave, you could warm the eyelash curler in some hot water first.

I saw the Novi Stars with the snap-on clothes at TRU today, and boy are they ugly.  The best thing about Novi Stars are their lovely eyes, imo, and without them the dolls look kinda cheap, especially considering their lack of articulation.

I got Una Verse to go with Tula Toned... I tried to take the shoes off and one came off but now whenever I do the bottom of her feet feel coated in some of the liquid in her legs. Hopefully if I just keep that shoe on it will plug whatever leak there is...

I finally caved. After eyeing Mae Tallick for upwards of six months, I finally bought her since she reminds me of Hatsune Miku! It's all downhill from here...

I found (and bought) all 4 Orbit Beach dolls for half off at my local Meijer   I'm so thrilled!  I wasn't even sure I wanted them all that much, but for half off, I'll take 'em!

Makes me feel a bit better paying full price on Tula, whom I'm not so fond of.  I bought her at the Walmart I stopped at before Meijer.  She was my "completer" doll.

I just hope some of the new dolls are better than the transparent ones at stores now. They are so ugly.

I had bought 3 novi stars at walmart for $16.00 a apiece.  I was Honorably disappointed,

 They completely fall apart. The arms pop off to dress them and un dress them, But they also fall off just being on their stand. the stand isn't secure I they fell of it all the time. The clothes are poor quality. you have to be careful of the sprayed glitter body because the glitter falls of..not too bad but it dose.

I agree with you on all these points, as well as few more quibbles regarding lack of articulation, etc. Def room for improvement. But I got mine few on clearance prices, so it don't bother me.

Yeah- the stands stink.

But I am fine with the arms popping off - it makes them much easier to dress.  It's not as if they are "breaking" off-

If that's the case with the arms popping out, could it be that they're intentionally able to be removed to easily redress?? *has no Novi Stars*

Oh yes- that is exactly the intention.

The knees and elbows don't bend, so the arms come out at the sockets so that little fingers can get the little clothing on more easily. 


What's annoying is not that they come out easily (to me) -  it's that every time I unpack a new doll- even when I am being very careful, one of the arms will come flying off and I'll have to search around for it! Lol

I've lost like three of my girls stands just by bumping into them, and they all have to be propped up by the wall or they slowly lean back.

I actually take some of those clear rubber bands that are in the packaging- and essentially tie them onto their stands to that they don't topple out.   THe stands are seriously lame.
