Wow, I actially like her outfit, all Kimono/Yukata looking and cute.

She's got "stretchy" arms which makes me think they are like rubber, and not bendy. Maybe if you throw her at a wall she'll sort of stick like those sticky wall crawlers. I do like the extra arm concept as well as GID and her outfit.

I hope they're stretchy enough for play and not rip out as soon as you tug on them a few inches outward.

I was thinking they would be fairly similar to the arms on the old Stretch Armstrong toys. It's a good way to make her multiple arms work without having to deal with putting new joints in the middle of her torso.

I am very impatient to see Tula's doll revealed now.

lol I was thinking of that toy mechanism too! But I couldn't remember the name. That one toy you'd pump his head or something and he becomes reallly flexible.

I got the all the Novi Stars for Christmas, and spent tonight styling them.  I like them alot:)  They are very different! 

Anyone have suggestions for alternate stands?  I cannot stand these stands (pun intended, cuz I'm that cool )  I cannot figure out Mae's!  Not even if my life depended on it.  I think it's so sad when I can't figure out children's toys

Stretch Armstrong just had the rubbery arms. If I'm remembering right, they were full of corn syrup. They could rip, but it wasn't easy. After a few years the syrup would harden and his arms wouldn't stretch anymore.

Hobby Lobby has nice stands for what I deem acceptable prices. They come in three different sizes and each has a range in which it reaches, so you can move the bit that holds the doll's waist up and down until it fits what you're putting on it. I have a couple of the nice wood ones for my Disney Store Brave dolls and I like them. Hobby Lobby carries the metal ones, too.

I can get Mae into the stand, kind of. Her left foot won't go all the way in. Give her a few seconds after I've stuffed her in there though and she's on her face. The spots for the feet are too far apart and her legs are not the same shape, so you can't bend them in a manner to have them fit properly. Kind of distressing, but I guess kids won't really care about her fitting into the stand anyway.

I love Alie. I love Alie so much. I was squealing like a schoolgirl when I hit the button on her backpack and she started glowing in a plethora of beautiful colors. I'll be fixing her hair over the weekend and making some space for this line in my hobby room. I have no freaking clue where I'm going to put them. I'm running out of space!
