I have no idea what is up with me. I can not break my junk food habit right now. I literally can not stop!!! I just bought the pizza bites and candy for my lunch....embarrassed to say the least...it might be close to our wonderful yeah we are female week...but I just can't shake the craving. Drinking water, juice or even a healthy snack like an apple....I just want it so bad I can't even focus on my piano....blah:P

So 1 point today. Even though my food still needs some work...my active lifestyle is getting so much better. I am always doing something around the house before work, and try to do something when I come home. I was starting to loose that habit so having that come back and still have 45 days to go...I think I will make it stick....yes I have a counter on the phone Sept 16 is 45 days away:)

I made the count down not to say a few days left or so forth...but as a reminder that I only have so much time to score points. It has tracked me better then plugging my food in my phone. I like the did I eat or work out good or bad day.

So maybe Friday will be my day 1 towards my blind bags:P

How to describe today? I think the bout of hysterical crying I had at clinic pretty much sums it up.. :sad:

The weigh in said I'd gained, although my specialist said it was basically a false result as I'd not been eating or doing anything in particular in order for that to happen, so it was actually because I'd had a drink before I went to clinic (and also having a bit of tummy trouble.. purging's screwed it up a bit). Nevertheless I couldn't cope with it and interpreted that as being hugely fat and disgusting, and ended up crying all of my eyeshadow off, going into mild panic and being unable to speak for at least 10 minutes.

We've had trouble with the eating disorder unit bc they told us there was a bed there for me, and that I should've actually been there by weekend. The funding was sorted too, but now they've turned around and told us that actually they've had more referrals and my assessment would be within a fortnight, admission a fortnight after that. :enraged: Which is wonderful, as I am classed as a critical case and my physical health probably won't last out a week or two as I'm continually deteriorating. I've been told to go straight to A&E should I get weaker. :cloud:

Quite distressed by it all, and exhausted. Taking to limiting my intake even further to help me cope (without self harming), beginning exercise again and purging tonight. I know this is all really negative as I was slowly beginning to stop the downwards spiral, but I'm emotionally worn out and I'm so so sorry to let everyone down. :( I really am. Especially as I'm letting myself down more than anyone, but I can't see another way without seriously risking harm in other ways..


I'm pleased you are still looking on the brightside (no pun intended!).  I can't imagine how hard you must find things on a daily basis.  I really hope you get some of your energy back and start feeling healthier again. 

Aw, bless you! :hug: Thank you, honeybee.. I hope so too.. Haha, that's actually where the username came from (other than as a Killers reference) - to remind me to find a bright side to everything I come across, as most things in life have something to love about them.

Still sticking with the program, have made some modifications due to IRL stuff.  Still on track and doing pretty good (random funniness, my jean shorts FELL DOWN when I was running to catch a flight at the detroit airprort tuesday morning).  I liked the "think and reflect" challange of last week.  It actually did make me think back to some of my choices, and realize how far I have come and continue to go.  Not just in food choices, but in overall daily choices I make. 

I have a schedueld massage Aug 9 . . . which is technically NEXT week, so does that count?

:hug:  Don't give up.  I go through stages like this too.  I've had a couple of nights during this programme where I literally can't think past the idea of chocolate!  Both nights have resulted in 'healthy habits blowout' and of course, interim weight gain.  The thing to remember is that this is a journey and you can't be 'good' all of the time.  Don't beat yourself up when you have a set-back, keep looking forward to the new you that you are working towards.

I'm sorry it doesn't appear you are going to get the help you need for a little longer.  Maybe you could go back to one of our weekly challenges (3?) and recite the things you like about yourself and your body.  It seems like you need to love yourself again so you can appreciate all of the really fantastic things about the body you have been given.

I went out and put that expensive clutch purse on layby for myself today!  It is for 6 weeks and I'm hoping the pick-up date will coincide with my 15kg weight loss goal (if not, I have spoken to the store owner and she is happy to let me extend it for another couple of weeks, which was really nice of her :) ).

I have eaten well today (so far) and did a big skipping/stepper/cycle workout when I got home.  I also added a couple of exercises that I saw on the Biggest Loser last night :)

My good news - I don't need the piece of paper as I went through some clothes a friend gave me a couple years ago and I actually fit into them, and look good! so I've lost two dress sizes :D :cheer:

I confess that I did not take my measurements at the start of this programme.  At the time it was enough of a push just to weigh myself (now of course I wish I had taken them!).  Anyway, clothes are a great visual guide of how far you have come.  Congrats on dropping two dress sizes *high five*

Hello guys!

It's been a long while since I've replied.... I'm still doing the challenge. :) although I think I've been doing fairly average.. The exercise is going pretty well due to where I work. I lift a minimum of 10kg bags everyday and it's a fast paced environment.

The eating part started well, but due to being so busy it's gonna get even busier too... I've just started studying, I'm planing my engagement party for October and after that my wedding. I work 38 hours and I'm working on trying to move up to head office so I can earn more money.

Saying this though, I am toning up, I've joined a 24 hour gym. It opens sometime in August. I've been able to wear jeans recently, but I'm still working on that.

Anyway that my update; I'll try and post more often. ^.^

Sorry if it's been covered already, but is anyone getting inspired by the olympics this year? Like the ones who are wearing long sleeves and head covering and even fasting due to their religion (my bad if I'm getting anything wrong here  :blush:). I'm like, if they can run for themselves and their country like that, the least I can do is get off my butt  :P

I've been watching, but strangely enough I'm not feeling inspired. I think a big part of my problem is that my knee is out right now, so I have reality right in my face about my limitations. I know that no matter how hard I tried, I could never even have 1/10 of their skill. Plus I'm too busy sitting on my butt watching them work.  :lol:

I really should take a walk. Another issue is my tattoo. Putting a shirt over it makes it itch! So I'm like, "I should go outside today. Oh, wait, that would require putting on a shirt. Nevermind."  >_< I really need to adjust my attitude.

Things totally are scary for us all. Stay strong Brightside because you are not alone....you have all of us hear to read and cheer for you. For all of use the act that we are trying is a great reward. I teach a lot of students music and I commonly get I wont do that...and I ask have they tried it....commonly they say no. So I always say its more important to try then it is to reach the goal. Because trying helps you learn to make that goal.

We all fall short and off the bandwagon it happens I know that. I am still very hard on myself as many of you  have pointed out. For so long I have been told by people close and far from my heart that I was just not good enough. There was no way you will make it....so after years of hear that I put those comments into my thought process. Its hard to change that habit. As I have taught...I am learning slowly how to push myself but be positive with it:)

Some things will take years. I wish I could give more advice:)

so far so good. went and got gas in my car and bought nothing! Well I got coffee but those are one of those things that happens 1 a year.

Cloths motivate me all the time. I go shopping to not buy:P I will find something that I think would be awesome on me and try it on. Then I will come back later and try it on again to see if I can go down in size or if it fits better. Huge thrill when I have to change sizes:)

Something to cheer everyone up:) My birthday is in Sept...but I will be in a play at that time so way busy. So I am doing my Bday contest early so I am not rushed with. So in the choral is a chance to win pony prizes:) On a very selfish note. The play I am going for I want the lead SO BAD. I mean crying and working my butt of to prepare for it. If you could send any positive energy, prayers or anything that will help me get this part it would be wonderful. I am getting so scared I will not get this part. I have wanted this ever since I watched with me mom when she did plays. I know if I do not get it ...its not the end...but I am using all sources I can to give the best audition I can...fate will choose...thanks:)
