Blind bag TE Mimic with hair tail

I finally finished my blind bag Mimic! She was an experiment and I feel happy with how she came out.

I resculpted some of her mane and legs after I cut her moilded tail off. I drilled a hole and put her tail in (the usual: Electric Banana, Pussycat, Envy and Sugarberry). Acrylic paints and green rhinestone eyes.

She looks really good! I tried to turn a bb brushable but the mane was so difficult that I threw the whole project against a wall.  You are more patient than me lol. I love her!

I am terrible at describing things. I'll try though. I drill a hole in her to put the tail in. Then I make a tail that I think will fold in half and still be smaller in diameter than the hole it has to go into. I wrap a long piece of super-thin beading wire and tie it around the middle of the strand. Ok, I give up trying to explain. I will go do a bad illustration on Paint and post- stay tuned.

Ok, so hair. Tiny wire. Fold in half, wrap a few times around center fold (be careful, every wrap adds bulk). Tie off an trim ends. Make sure it will fit in the tail hole. (It shouldn't fit easily, it should need some smooshing with a blunt tool (I use the ends of my needle-nose pliers). Don't smoosh it until you get the glue in though. If it won't fit, you either have too much hair, wrapped too much wire or your wire is too thick. I hope this made sense.

So I was not happy with the color of paint I used on that first bunch. It wasn't electric enough, so I repainted it :)
