g4 custom prep

Ok i got a twilight g4... ready to custom...head is off but plug is inside the body...so i can not get to the tail......can i get that plug out? How? What are my risks of having to glue the head in in trying to remove the plug? Is there s way to make it easy? Thanks for the help:)

Carefully cut around the plug with a knife. Make sure you don't cut through the neck.

Also try boiling the body first I find it makes the plug easier to cut out.

this times a million and keep your fingers away from the knife!, i have a nasty scar from where i sliced open the side of my finger

I always break the plug.  *grumbles at self* good advice here though.  Try cutting the adhesive instead of the plastic as it pulls away from the pony.
