Musings on future Ponyville 3 packs...

While looking over the new sets (I *will* be getting the Smith family one, Granny ftw!) I noticed that each pack came with one of the Mane 6. This leads me to wonder if they release the other three who would they be packaged with?

My guesses:

Pinkie Pie: I was thinking Mr and Mrs Cake. Vinyl Scratch/ DJ Pon3 would be great but I can't think who the other would be. The Cake Twins would be friggin adorable but with the Ponyvilles being really small the twins would be too tiny!

Rarity: Photo Finish and Prince Blueblood get my vote but Hoity Toity and Fancy Pants could also work. Plus a mini pony with a mustache? Hilarious!!! I think she'd appreciate the Spa ponies though

Fluttershy: *scratches head* Out of all of them she interacts with other ponies the least... Thunderlane and the male Firefly clone from Hurricane Fluttershy would be awesome (more boys woot!). Photo Finish would also work, and maybe Mr. Greenhooves.

There should be a pack for the cutie mark crusaders too! A villain pack, consisting of Queen Chrysalis, Nightmare Moon and Discord, and a Royal pack, consisting of Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and a royal guard!

They really ought to give the Mayor a toy, but I can't figure out what the theme would be...

Zecora is getting a $10 playful pony single release for the Collector's line at TRU, and she GLOWS IN THE DARK.

I don't know how many more unique mold blind bags they're going to make. A new mold equals time and money. I was surprised that they made the alicorn mold for wave 5, honestly. And if you've looked closely at wave 1 blind bags, AJ and the pegasus mold is the same thing, just mirrored, and Rarity and Pinkie Pie are very similar, too. I was going to write up a post on that, but all the "real" news and things to cover pushed it back.

I'd love to see more "characters of the day"s made into toys, but that's more of me as a brony wanting that, and Hasbro has just started "listening" to us as a viable sector of the market. Who knows what's under wraps.

I love that idea! I really makes sense that Pinkie, Rarity and Fluttershy would get their own little 3 pack sets - fingers crossed!

Spike already has a molded figure, and making him blind-bag scale would be really difficult, and he'd be so loseable.


Having an adult dragon be in scale with the blind bags would have to be the size of the DnD Colossal Red Dragon miniature

Unless they do teenager dragon figures? But that wouldn't be marketable at all.

and one with Fluttershy with her own mold and...I don't even know who I'd want in the pack with her.

Maybe Fluttershy with the CMC? She babysat them for one episode. I'd prefer Cherilee with the CMC though, as a teaching set.

I'd love to see Fancy Pants and Saphire Shores with Rarity, Photo Finish definitely needs to be following Fluttershy in her own group. The CMC would be a fun group I'd pick up, and a pack with Cheerliee the Mayor and... someone else. Can't think of who.
