I never cared much for so softs until recently. A friend of mine went to a thrift store and found a gorgeous bunch of ponys complete with ribbons and brushes, and the two so softs stole my heart, especially WindWhistler <3

I didn't care much for them for most of my life. Something about holding one in great shape in your hands really wins you over though <3

Scrumptious makes me jealous, but I have been extremely lucky in my thrift store finds so I certainly can't complain. I'll try to keep the pics to a minimum, but you did ask for Twist so I'll start with her!

The trick to so-softs is that they look so tatty if their flocking is wearing but so fantastic with lush fur! The fuzz photographs well, makes me want to pet them through the screen.

When I was a kid, I just had one, which was Bangles. I think my parents were worried they'd get dirty too easily or something. I definitely want to get a replacement for my childhood Bangles someday, but I almost never see her for sale and I'm afraid of how much she'd cost if I did find one with really nice flocking.

So-softs were my most favorites when I was a kid! I still love them now, too


These are my original childhood ponies, that I still have... as you can see, they were well loved. I was always afraid to try to clean them, but I've seen a couple of good tutorials on here, so I might just give it a shot. I also had a Posey, Scrumptious, and Sundance that I'm working on replacing.

i love so-softs! angel was one of my most beloved childhood ponies. i would walk around stroking the curve of her back endlessly. ....i might still do this.

I have to say, I am definitely madly in love with So-Softs (Though I feel so bad for the poor things when their flocking starts to go, they look sort-of ill ). I see I'm not the only one; you all have some beautiful ponies~
