I've never heard Hasbro-OC before, but I also don't care for it. I'm not crazy about Alicorn either, as it's technically incorrect. Alicorn is the material which a unicorns horn is made of, I believe (I may be slightly off there, but it does relate solely to a unicorns horn). I will admit that I think Alicorn sounds prettier than Unipeg or Pegacorn, though.

Pegasister is definitely the MLP term I dislike most. If most of the fans of the new cartoon are going to be bronies, I want to be one to. Being specified by my gender just... irks me. It's like "Oh, she's a female ponyfan," instead of just "She's a ponyfan."

Can't think of any others at the moment.

Brony. And just about any brony word. I have a hard time taking them seriously when they try to counteract my arguments using horse words.  :drunk: I also don't like being told it's a gender-neutral word.

I don't like the words pegacorn or pegasister. Pegacorn just sounds like something you would eat. Pegasister is in my eyes just another word to split the fans in to two "gender camps". I don't like that kind of stuff and to me brony works for just fine for both females and males. It also sounds better/is funnier to say. :P

I know you mean well by wanting to vent about things that are irritating. But considering the tension in the community right now, posting this subject  might not be the best of ideas. Especially when there will be allusions to words/meangings that people would be better off not knowing about it.

So I apologize to you, amenoo, but I feel it would be in everyone's best interests to lock this thread for now. If things calm down in the future, perhaps we can think about revisiting it.
