G2 Study and Play - who is who?

Hello,
         For all those G2 experts how do you know which pony is which? i'm not having any luck trying to find information as I want to update the wiki.....so if anyone can help?

Where the Rainbow Ends says one is a shade lighter.

But other than that, I can't find anything!  You'd think the one who's name is listed first is going to be the one on the left, and then the other on the right.

I dont think "officially" they are allocated a name each...

In theory I would also go with the pony to the left is Study and the pony to the right is Play...but thats just because it "seems" right not based on any actual facts.
