This one was a commission as a belated mother's day present.  The buyer had emailed me with an odd request - could I make a pony based off of a Boeing 787 Dreamliner airplane?


I love the fact that I can get requests like that, and be able to reply "Sure.  Pony-Plane.  Got it." 


Painted in acrylics, sealed, and given the Dollyhair treatment with Atomic Turquoise.  She's got the 787 from the plane's tail on one side, and the Boeing logo on the other side, and some glittery accents on her wings as well.

Initially, she was supposed to have the lighter blue be a gradient, with the dark blue the way it is now, and sadly, after several attempts to get it right, it just wasn't happening.  I kept getting blue on the wings, and then I'd try and fix it and get white where the blue was supposed to be.  I'm still happy with how she turned out though
