Foreign Mcdonalds Ponies (im in US)

I want them so badly, but everytime I see them they are too expensive for me to buy. Are they rare? Whats up?
Would anyone be willing to help me out for reasonable prices?

My question would be what gen are you looking for?

(My Mother-in-law was on vacation in FL and picked me up 2 Euro McPonies-g2 and g3 MIP for $10. I don't know if that was a bargain or not, but that didn't include shipping, so my guess is that was OK.)

Yes, its going to depend on the generation you are looking for - the only G4 non US ones I know of are the Brazil light ups but they were out some time ago, so I guess you would have to get those from a collector rather than from someone getting them from store.

Well, I would agree with hathorcat. The McDonalds ponies sold here in Malaysia are exactly the same as the US ones (save for the insert and the fact that only half of the set came in). Only Latin America and South America got different ponies.

We had g4 here at McDonalds, but they were almost the same as the US ones.

Um Im looking for the G3 mc d's.  However I had no idea about light ups from brazil! Now im uber curious!

Oh there are a lot of different G3 sets which were released only in UK/Netherlands/Mexico/Australia...some come up often enough - I seem to come across the UK set in lots a lot, especially the pink one whose name I cant remember - but there are a handful that are harder to find. So its probably going to depend which ones you are looking for...have you tried a want post or adding the "wants" to your signature?

They are still finishing up the Aussie G4 ones here in Australia, they are bag clips? not sure if they were also released in the states though.

the old g3 ones are incredibly common in Australia.  I often left them behind.  I actually did keep my eye out for you while I was there, but then you seemed to disappear from the arena so I stopped looking. 

Unfortunately I am not actually IN Australia any more, but I'm sure some Aussie member must have a spare set somewhere.
