Rescue from Midnight Castle on DVD?

So I totally grew up on this movie. Rented it from the video store time and time again. I still like this movie so much and would LOVE to have it on DVD. Has anyone seen JUST this movie on DVD? I've seen it in the boxset with the tv show, but I don't want to whole tv show, I just want this movie. I'm wondering if anyone has seen it by itself for sale.

I'm 90% sure it's never been released on it's own on a DVD. It is, as you've said, on Disc 4 of the complete series, and was also released in Australia (No region code, however) with the episode 'The Prince and The Ponies' and the two-part version of 'Escape from Catrina'. I believe that disc is not-so-cleverly entitled 'My Little Pony - The Prince And The Ponies & Rescue At Midnight Castle & Escape from Katrina'.

Yes, I believe its only available twice in English on DVD - the US release which is part of a box set and then on a single DVD in Australia where is was on disk with another 2 episodes. The Australian version is different from the original though - it misses some content including songs [I dont know why].

It's not available by itself, but in the box set it's with has Escape from Katrina on it as well!

The problem is the only version available on DVD is the cut for syndication version.  Unfortunately, Shout!Factory doesn't have the license to make DVD's of it either.

I still have my old VHS copy. It's a shame the DVD set was edited

I have a copy that was sent to me by a pony friend as an extra about 8 years ago but it was obviously ripped and burned from another source and I don't know how complete it is.    I don't believe it ever had an inclusive release on DVD in the States.

Really? Thats a shame...I only have the Aus one as its not region specific - I had been contemplating getting the US one at some point as I thought it was without too many cuts...never mind.

I'd love if they rereleased it on DVD, it's my favourite Pony movie.  It is available on Youtube, at least.

@Dragonflitter- "Little Piece of Magic", I think I've read somewhere. I watched this movie on Youtube the other day and the uploader stated that it was "the uncut verison".

I wish the uncut version would get a DVD release. Heck, I wish the older generations would be aired on the Hub! ><

So I'm confused. Is there a DVD out that just has Escape from Midnight Castle and Catrina in it? But Midnight Castle has been edited?
