yay! lovesbabysquirmy sent me a lovely box of Filly Princesses and it arrived today!  We opened a few and found we got the one with a jewel in her crown!  we also got a prince!!!

I actually have most of the Filly Princess figures. I'm just missing a few, but my Target (the only place I've ever found them) sold out of them months ago and hasn't restocked since.

I also want several of the Filly Unicorn and Filly Fairy figures, but apparently the Princess ones are the only ones sold in the US.

I wouldn't say it's "frowned upon." They're super cute! lol. But they are without a doubt fakies. The art on the bag is a blatant rip off of G3 Hasbro art! But somehow I look at those cute little flocked faces and forgive them haha.

I wouldn't collect them myself, but I do like picking up the bag at Target and reading the back. The names and titles are so cute!! Emperor, Empress, Duke, Duchess, King, Queen, Prince, Princess, etc.!

When I first saw them at Target i totally snorted and thought "way to copy to Hasbro's G3 art" then dismissed them as a wannabe. I still think they kind of ripped off the art style from Hasbro but I can't help but check them out every time I see them at Target. I have yet to get any but i'll admit they're pretty cute in their own way.

In my opinion, they're too expensive and too small to be worth collecting. Also there's, like, 85 of them? For the Princess line?

There's actually only 21 unique characters in the Filly Princess line. There are 4 color variations for each character (mostly just different mane and tail colors) except for Princess Crystal, who has 5 variations. I limit myself to just one color of each character, with an exception of a few favorites that I have multiple recolors of, and it's not so bad.

I wish more people on here collected these so it would be easier to trade duplicates around.

They are so cute!  I've actually been avoiding them since I saw them in Target a while ago.  I can't get into them...all my monies belongs to MLP.  However, these are the cutest little Fakie babies I've seen since the Dollar General baby fakies.
