The much hyped semi prequel to Alien is close. Very close for me, as it airs May 30th over here 
Can't wait to go see this since I've been following the hype ever since it started, about a year ago!

I'm working the night it premiers so I'm looking forward meeting all the sci-fi nerds! I'm not gonna be able to see it til mid june but it looks like we're gonna be a huge group of people then so I hope it will be fun. My boyfriend is thrilled. He's such an alienfan, we have them allover the apartment ^^

The strange thing about this movie is that, while it got an R rating in the US, it got the "kids allowed" rating in Belgium, without editing...
(we only have 2 rating levels: kids allowed, and not allowed)

I'll be waiting for the dvd, though I do want to see it I just don't think its worth going to the theater to see it.

I loved the Alien films, so this is a yes for me!

I will actually go to the movie theater to see it.  I rarely go to a theater and pay money to see it unless it's something that really looks interesting.  And I love the original Alien movie.

I'm with you, ms.unicorn; going to the flicks is so expensive that I don't usually bother unless it's something I really want to see and am fairly confident it will be worthwhile! (Having said that, I did go to 'This Means War' purely for the Tom Hardy goodness!  )


Prometheus is one I'll be off to see... RIDLEY SCOTT for a start! Love his films, and also a big fan of the first three Alien movies in the series (the others... meh...). The first one is such a classic, and the fact that Prometheus is a prequel being made by the same director as 'Alien' is the biggest pull for me. I'll be going with my hubby and my dad who are both really keen to see it (more than me, actually). I'm hopeful it lives up to expectations!


Not sure when it will screen here in NZ; I'd better find out!

Yes I cant wait to see this...but I cant seem to book anything other than 3D tickets over here at the moment...talk about making it difficult to see a film!
