Flight of Dragons movie??

It was one of my favorites as a kid, besides MLP, Last Unicorn and Unico.  Does anyone else remember this movie??

Yup =) My husband saw it when he was a kid. I've only seen it within the past few years. We have a vhs of it that I got for him two or three years ago. Another great by Rankin and Bass.

YES! One time in elementary school the teachers had us watch it when it was raining outside, and I was probably one of the few who actually paid attention or didn't make fun of it. I tried searching for it to watch after, but was never able to find it. I did like reading the book quite a bit though.

Oh yes! It's my hubby's favorite childhood movie. It's adorable, though I didn't see it until I was an adult. We have it on DVD too.

have a copy on vhs that we taped off of tv ... i keep hoping to find a better copy or better yet a dvd of it ... but i never can find anything i can get/afford/trust lol every time i watch my copy i can't help but laugh hysterically at the old commercials lol

I found a DVD of it - not the best quality, but watchable - from a bootleg DVD dealer.  I loved this movie, we used to watch the VHS taped off TV all the time when I was a kid.

I also grew up watching Unico, and found DVDs from the same seller. Wish I remembered their URL so I could share it...

Yes, I love it. I own it on DVD - that was a very happy day for me when I received it as a birthday gift from my hubby.  I also have the books that the story is based on, written by Gordon Dickson. His Dragon Knight series, starting with the Dragon and the George. I love getting buried in those stories.

I remember it.  It was a great movie and their approach to dragons is what really drew me in.  I found it  awesome that years later the explanations in this movie would be used in documentaries about the theoretical biology of dragons.

lol its one of my alltime favorite movies i only have it on VHS (a semi new vhs at least, found it again in highschool and shamelessly tapped my inner child by throwing a tantrum til they bought it to shut me up) before that id only had sketchy memories of an old taped vhs that my dad threw away as a kid, so it was a mild obsession for me. still need to get it on dvd yet =]
still cant stand the song Oh Suzanna because of it tho hahaha
i had fun slipping the names of the characters into my old dnd campaign to see who recognized them... an angel named Melisande, a demonic red dragon named Breaghsethomnibus (Breagh for short) gave the boys a summoned Chimera named Gorebash... trying to remember all of it haha

You know, I don't remember this one.   I looked it up on google and I a surprised I don't remember it.   I was born in 1980, so cartoons around that time I know I saw many of them!   I will need to try and find this so I can watch it.  Maybe I only saw it a time or two and just don't remember.  It looks neat!

I am so happy that so many of you love this movie!  Most people have no idea what I'm talking about when I bring up this movie.  This movie is so awesome:)  If you haven't seen it, it's on youtube.
