What was good today? (The opposite of the WYP!)

I did the impossible... I folded a fitted sheet.  I am so impressed with myself right now.

That is no easy feat!  Yey leveling up in household skills!   Now the real trick is remembering how you did it for the next time.
This weekend I spent time with my grandparents and miraculously enough all 3 of my siblings at the same time.  It was the first time I'd seen my older brother since he left for Iraq last may and the first time I'd seen my grandparents in 7 months.  She sent me home with more squash than I can possibly know what to do with it.   Guess I'll be donating to the neighbors.
Also there was this, adorable animal pictures  and vids are almost always the highlight of my day.

Had a couple friends over for dinner and the food turned out great!  The guy is someone I've known for most of my life, we went to elementary school together and lived only a block apart.  He was actually my first boyfriend almost a decade ago.  His fiancee I haven't known as long, but we get along well and it's nice to have another couple that we like and can hang out with (and for once, they're MY friends first and not just me tagging along with my husband's buddies and their girls).  Plus, it's always great to meet up with the guy since we were super close as kids and have all sorts of hilarious stories.

Getting to /finally/ see my family after so many months as well as getting to have a well loved favorite, Penn Station for dinner.

It's waaaay early to have gotten anything accomplished, good or bad.  *But* I woke up to the most beautiful day!  And I'm finally "slim" enough to enjoy a good swim in my apartment pool!

Lulz. I've not done much today, other than hang out in the week long(!!!) sunshine Northern Ireland's been , but some guy in a car wolf whistled at me while I was going to the post office? I've got a fiance, but it made me laugh so hard I snorted, so that's gotta be a good thing!

Yoga last night, even though I was seizing up all over the place all day yesterday so oh gods did it hurt everywhere.

Oh and my aunt saw a "Samantha-dactyl" little moneybox, with a pterodactyl on the top in a charity shop (she browses them like mad) and got it for me

Me and my 4-year-old student played with her fashion style G4, we combed and braided their hair, used a lot of hair clips and broochs, and it was so much fun! She said she loves me, my heart melted!

It's cooled down a bit so I'm not melting oh and I got some more art finished. Something thats been in the WIP file since March/April time.

My best friend has booked flights to come and see me in 3 weeks for my fiance's birthday! It'll be the first time I've seen her since New Years

My two year old accidentally stepped on my bad ankle and I let out a little yelp.  He promptly bent down to kiss my ankle, then gave me a hug and said "I love you!"
