Can I point out again how bizarre it is that Princess Cadance has two mini-figures: one that looks like her, and one that's a Princess Celestia recolor?

In addition, I still find it strange that these Celestia mini-figs look so much like the old regular-sized Celestia, only with the tail reversed, an extra chunk added onto the end of the mane, and perhaps some of the feathers made a bit thicker, it's hard to tell with all the different lighting...

They even have a "pinhole" in the same place on the non-display side of the mane.  Then again, the talking Princess Celestia had a pose pretty much identical to the medium-sized ones, so is it just really easy for toy manufacturers to miniaturize one pose to create a new one in another size, or what?  I don't know much about the process.

I don't get why they make the wings of Cadence purple...I mean, i would prefer an actual pink/purple gradient but wouldn't it make more sense for her wings to just be pink?
Maybe i should just compare her to G3 Star Catcher.

Blind bag Luna looks so tall... I think I'd rather see her in the mold for Cadence.
FS Cadence looks great though, I'm not really a fan of tinsel but it looks good on her.

This kind of thing - the wing colour difference doesnt normally annoy me...but on this occasion I do agree it seems an  odd thing to keep doing.

I "presume" this is the FS Cadence that we have seen boxed with Shining Armour? Cant wait to see pictures of SA turning up soon!

But blind bag Cadence is in the same exact mold as Luna and Celestia. The first figure there of Cadence isn't a blind bag, it's from a separate set that comes with Twilight, Shining Armor and Cadence, which is why that version of her has a different mold.

I can't wait to buy all of these! I think the final ver. of FS Cadance will have glitter on her wings (like the one SoSilver received) and I'm glad for it because she will match the Canterlot ver. of Luna and Celestia. Sparkly glitter Princess Ponies!!!

Those mini figures are gonna be so awesome. The BB Cadance seems to actually have a gradient on her wings doesn't she? I will need both her and the mini-fig set ver.!

Hasbro is so nutty. Cadence in her own mold AND a Celestia mold, and Luna in a Celestia mold but not in the Cadence mold which would have been a better fit. Also, they apparently go through the trouble of adding the purple gradient on the Celestia mold BB Cadence but not on the bigger, more expensive ones? Gah I'm so confused by all of this.

This is because they are two different toys altogether, just coincidentally the same size. The Celestia recolor is a regular blind bag pony. The one that is its own mold is NOT a blind bag, just blind bag sized. She will be released in a 3-piece show-character set along with Shining Armor and Twlight Sparkle.
