Just thinking when I first joined, Mimic was the must-have pony and was fetching crazy prices! And the Mountain Boys were pretty popular as well as a few others. What's happening in 2012? I must confess I haven't been hanging round the corral much since the focus is more on G3s and FiM (not quite my generation). So chime in with your ten cents please

Hey Tiggums....I am with you! Haven't been around the arena for a while! You are right about Mimic! Of course I did get her - for at the time LOTS of $!!
Now in 2012 I am into getting rid of MIB G3s....Granddaughters just not interested in MLPs!

I think from ebay prices and recent threads one of the most sought after ponies of the moment and has been for a while now is Red Roses...she doesnt come up as often as you would like, she is a colour combo that many people love, a unicorn and in one of the most popular uni poses - that seems to combine to make her expensive at the moment...give it a fews months and it will be someone else no doubt!

And I'm STILL after Mimic, lol. All the ponies I want seem to be too high in price :p Diamond Dreams was the POTD several days ago and there were several people wanting her so she seems popular And I think the TAF babies are always popular. They're so cute!

I'll agreed with Red Roses, been after her forever but the price just keeps going up! I've noticed that all the TE ponies at the moment seem to have gone up in price too

Really? I'd forgotten about her (Red Roses). And what about Bright Eyes? She was hot for a bit. Great to see Henpatch check in! What are the 7 Tales doing? I'm not selling, just having a catchup with everyone x

Tales were hot for a while about 6 months ago - everyone seemed to want them but I do think they have settled back down to normal for the moment anyway.

Bright Eyes remains in my opinion more tough to find than Mimic and although expensive I dont think she is wildly more expensive than she used to be

But thems just my thoughts!

I'd say the most popular ponies at the moment are Vennies (Venezualans) There is sooo much talk about them at the moment, but as for non nirvana, hmmm, still Mimic probably...!

How about Gusty and Applejack?  For the last swap I was in, I got into a bidding war over a lovely condition Gusty.  I can't believe how pricy she was, not to mention Applejack.  I've also noticed a huge price increase in wingers.  I bought Starry Wings a few years ago for $10.  Now, she's closer to the $40 price range.
