Show me G3 boys!

I just got my first G3 baits and I have a couple of ideas. Problem is I think they all look so feminine. I would love to see how you did your G3 males. My plan is making a G4 boy with a G3 bait, but I don't think feathered hooves will make it masculine enough. Show me your pictures and give me some inspiration! :biggrin:

Yay! Lovely boys you got there.  :biggrin: Maybe I should try sculpting the hair? Easier to make a short haircut and tail that way and it certainly makes it more masculine. :)

I did some G1 boys try to gave them nylon hair and make them look like a boy but I prefer sculpting :D

BerryMouse, you did an awesome job with the hair.  :) I tried fixing a brushable hairstyle for a boy pony I made, but it turned out pretty ridiculous.  :blush:

As with all my boys, I didn't give him any eyelashes. While that isn't very realistic, it's an easy way to make them look more boyish. :) BerryMouse's male ponies do look like males even with the eyelashes, though, so I guess it's just a matter of preference. ^^  A short haircut helps as well, mohawk is always an option but usually the traditional G1 length works well, too. Or sculpted hair, I think the business style and such are easiest to achieve that way, at least with my meek hairstyling skills. :lol:  Baby Graffiti's tail is styled with watered down glue, hehe.

Oh wait, I just realized I do have another one... he's just not finished yet. But maybe I can show a pic even though it's a commission... a sneak peek, I trust many of you will recognize him.

I did a few boys, I left off the eyelashes (mostly) and gave them short hair... (mostly) XD

I also used nylon hair, and used some hard-core hair gel to set it in place.


Ace has the same hair technique, but he's a g1. I find that the eyes have a LOT of impact on gender representation.

I am loving all the new threads people are posting with sculpting over g4's to make boys, adding to height, chest and nose. I plan on trying this very soon.

Thanks a lot for all your pictures, they have helped me a great deal with ideas and I feel like it's gonna work out fine to do a G3 boy. :)

Salli, I also thing that the eyes really do make a huge difference. What a fantastic idea to sculpt them over! I just might do that to get the distinct G4 eye look.
