  I'M MOVING!

From being told I'm losing my house last week, to loads of horriblenasty stuff going on in my personal life, I've just been told I'm moving!

I pick the keys up Monday morning, I have my friend, her boyf and their friend helping with a van and lifting power, and my occupational therapist has said they will sort out any alterations I need to the property for me too, so it just gets better

That's gorgeous, congrats! May I ask how long it's taken you to be housed in a suitable property..? We had a new OT out today to see my mum about our application for single level housing I suppose the time varies by area though.

I've been on the housing list for about four years, but my FM has become worse in the past two years. It was about that time I was made homeless and actually kipped in my car for a fortnight - the council were no help whatsoever, didn't offer a shelter or B&B or anything, so I was in the letting agencies every day and I took the first property that came up (the one I am currently in) It has stairs and it's so not suitable for me but it was better than my car!!! So the council put my down the list as I had a safe place to live even though it wasn't suitable at all. <_< It takes a while and the council makes no sense whatsoever, but all done now
