Odd head size *wig question*
« on: May 22, 2012, 11:13:07 PM »
If a head breaks down to 7.99 inches, should I go for a 7/8 wig or a 8/9 wig? Or could I go for either?

Depends on the wig, really. Some brands run elastic around the cap, in which case you might get away with an 8/9, but if they're not elasticated, an 8/9 could just roll around on the head. Try and find out of certain companies run 'big' or 'small', and make a choice from there. I find it's usually best to go larger than smaller, depending on the style, because at least then you can attach the wig so it doesn't fall off, instead of having it not fit at all!

Thank you!
I think I will be going after a dollzone or leekeworld wig for this boy, if I decide to buy him.

If you buy leekeworld, 7/8.
I'd say in general, you'd be good with a 7/8.

I have a doll with a 9.4 head, who squeezes into an 8/9 leekeworld wig, and it looks fine. They stretch.

if it's only a touch too big, you can wrap a medium width rubber band a few times around the head to close the gap. the wig should fit better afterwards. that's the only way i can get a wig to stay on my cp juri05!
