So when you have babies that need parents...

I have a bunch of babies that don't have mommies and don't appear to ever have had them.  I have paired them all off with different mommies, and I will add pics of that tonight.  But I was wondering, what combos do you have?  Have you switched them around at all?  Who has adopted who?  Who are the daddies in the herds as well? 


I want to see pics too, please!  I'll add mine this evening, lol.

Hmm  My "orphans" are generally just adopted by the herd in general.  Y'know, they're all a family, so they all look after the kiddies.  Maybe I will make custom parents for many of them.

I have the babies with mommies displayed together on the main shelf, the rest are all together on the "orphan shelf" I do try to match up mommy-less babies with similar looking ponies though. Like the rainbow babies have been group adopted by the adult rainbow ponies. Same with the sweetstep ponies.

Lol! I have the opposite problem...I always seem to be on the look out for babies for lonely mummy ponies to adopt! And I also have a terrible need to match ponies - i.e. Munchy needed a Baby Munchy...

I should just have gone with the collective herd mentality that makes much more sense!

Same here! The adults that I do have are in the process of having custom babies made...Can't resist an excuse to make a baby custom! My top priority is a baby Gypsy...why didn't Hasbro make one!! She is such a gorgeous pony!

I base the family pairings off of color, pose, or just plain cuteness.

Tiffany and Sunburst are parents to Baby Toppy.  Since he's bright yellow and she's white, it seemed appropriate for them to have a pale yellow baby.

SS Buttons is mommy to twins Peeks and Puddles because she and Peeks have a similar pose and because her hair colors match the babies.  It's cute because it looks like little Peeks wants to be just like her mommy!

AJ and Barnacle adopted my childhood Tattles when I moved all my ponies to a bookcase.  Poor Tattles just didn't look right on her own and I moved her around to see where she fit.  When I put her next to AJ and Barny, they just seemed to warm right up to her.  Then, recently, Kanthaka sent me a RAOPK Baby AJ and they had their biological kiddo.
