Gauging Interest - Grail Swap (for July or October)

I'd say G1 to G3/G4. Not everybody is comfortable with baiting a G1 pony, and some poses are more difficult to find than others. If we bait G3 or G4, then we can (sorta) get our grails guilt-free!

I would be happy with an alternate pose of a grail - for example, grail in a shy pose, but choose to do the custom in a different pose. Would that also be acceptable?

Since not everyone likes to work with G4, I say we do it like the newbie swap that was done a couple of months back, and choose our preferences in our swap form. We can say what gen we'd like to receive, and which we'd rather work with, so we can be paired accordingly.

Yes this is what I was planning on doing. I hate to rule out baits, someone may be limited to what they can use.

I'd much rather have a G1 grail in an alternate G1 pose, rather than as a G3 or G4. I can understand why some folks would be reluctant to bait a G1 but it happens often here in customs (tbh its a debate for another time).

I'll still join if it were to be G1 INTO G3/4  only, but it won't be as appealing to me.

I think specifying in the application that you'd prefer to have a g1/alternate pose rather than a G3 or G4 is a better solution than not allowing the baiting/customizing of G1s at all.

I agree.  I have been very excited for this swap, but I am not as interested in G3/G4.
