Ebay Tool Help
« on: May 17, 2012, 03:23:35 PM »
Ok, a while back there was a cool tool that someone posted about where you could enter an ebay user name and see what someone was bidding on or at least what someone had purchased/won on ebay. I am having an issue with an ebay buyer and she is claiming that the reason she didn't pay until the very last day of my NPB claim is because she was away from her computer. In the same breath she says she absolutely must have this item because she bought other stuff to go with it after she won it??? Ok, if you were online bidding on other items to go with it wouldn't you be able to jump on over and pay for the item *sigh* ok, all that aside, I am just curious and maybe a little nosey as to her claims being true or not. So does anyone remember what that site was? Thanks in advance!

Depends, we use auction sniper so we never miss something we want.  I am often at work or busy when auctions end.  Might be she used something like that.

As to what she bid on just click her feedback history and if folks left her feedback you can see what she brought.

Not sure about any tool though.

Hmm..I am not aware of any tool other than using ebay itself.

Hopefully someone else will know!

I didn't think you could see IDs anymore now that EBay made them anonymous.

If there's a tool, that would be interesting.  I'd like to know this too.

We used it in a thread a while back (around christmas time) on a buyer on ebay that was bidding on tons of ponies and then not paying or coming up with stories why she couldn't pay for weeks. Anyway, this particular buyer was for a non-pony item. The auctions ended on the 5th and I didn't decide to do a NPB claim until a week later and after 6 emails to the person asking if they were interested, letting them know I would start getting my fees back and so forth. I finally open the NPB and email her apologizing if she planned on paying etc etc. No response, she suddenly pays on the VERY LAST DAY before I could close it...I mean almost down to the minute and then says she wasn't online. Yes, she could have been using a sniper but she knew she won my item to snipe other items to go with it. If you know you won wouldn't you pay, or at least ask the seller if you could wait to pay? Oh my goodness, I have no issue holding items a long time if someone communicates with me but not a single anything from this person. I did look at her feedback and she is a flipper. It was a doll lot I sold and she puts high bins on items that she has purchased. Not that that is wrong or should change anything, I would just think being a seller she would know how important communication is. Especially since in her own BIN auctions she says "must pay within 48 hours or reserve the right to relist" grrrr.....
