Need a bit of name help

So, I'm throwing the floor open here so to speak as I need a bit of imput for a character name.
I've got a concept for a character who may end up be an Avenger's fan character depending on how I develop them.

The character is a human who through some means has been 'blessed' with essentially an empathy with the earth (it doesn't go so well,) and can shapeshift. The first name for a code name to come to my mind was Gaia since that's the sort of default 'earth related powers' name I could think of but I'd like to maybe pick something different. If possible I'd like a name that's kind of short and easy to pronounce as it's 'her name' for a little while as her identity isn't known so its sort of a placeholder.

If you want some information:
-Late teens
-Has red hair, hair is quite curly and could be called 'wild'
-Brown eyes
-Freckles
-To start with she is rather 'fragile' as when her empathy was first activated it really knocked her for six as in a way the earth started 'screaming' at her
-Although 'fragile' she does have a lot of inner strength
-She needs to be connected to nature in some way, if she is seperated too long she will 'wilt' as it were, she will look quite pale and sickly, often with dark circles under her eyes, and she will look pale all over, when she is near nature she looks 'healthy'
-Is somewhat of an environmentalist and general animal welfare/rights supporter but is a bit 'pragmatic' in her views, she understands that nature is used but she knows too much is being used
-Is a bit 'unstable' personality wise

The first thing I thought of was Cybele, who is an earth mother in various mythologies.  Perhaps modernize it and use Cybil?

Cecil and Terra both came to mind   The later means earth or ground.

I must say that I like Eviecorns idea! Cybil sounds good and is a modern name but still connected to her nature ^^

Ooh, the name Avani is so pretty!!  I also like Terra, although it kind of reminds me of the girl that kinda became part of Teen Titans for awhile.

Yeah that was my thought, also I did find Gaia was/is a Marvel character so I didn't want to step on any toes by using the name
