what happens to the eyes of a TE pony when boiled?

i have a baity party time that i was thinking of doing something with but i need to boil her in order to get the head off. her eyes are not too bad though what will happen if i boil her will they come off?

I've put the head in a cup and poured boiling water in it, and it was fine.

It should be fine- I've never had to boil a G1 head though.

The eyes won't come off. They are inserted into the head. The gem itself is on a post. If you look inside the head you will see two bulges where the eyes are. that is what the post is set into. If you do want to remove them you need to slice away the plastic and should be able to pop em out with pliers. I have a TE Quackers head with one eye. If you like I can pop her head in some water later and see what happens to it.

Boiling in plain water is fine, but do not add Oxi to it- it'll ruin the pearly finish on the eyes.
