Celestial Sky - Carousel Pony (For Sale!)

There was a thread a while back about carousel ponies, and it got me to thinkin that I really needed to make one.  This idea came upon me suddenly and I KNEW I had to do it.  I did her in the bright blue and gold often seen on celestial themed items.  I had a bed spread in those colors as a teen, and it's one of my favorite themes.


This was the custom I was talking about in my recent post about a saran color close to bobby blue.  I ended up going with a blend of phthalo and lagoon blue.  Phthalo ended up being really close to her paint color, but I think the blend worked out really well and adds a little dimension.  The other colors in her hair are 24k blonde and copper penny.  I love the feel of the saran <3  She was a lot of work, but so worth it.

She's stunning. I just love the color combination. Her design is delicate and simple and it just pops so beautifully. Wonderful job!

She's lovely! Did you sculpt the whole saddle area or is the inner part the pony herself with sculpting edges and decorations?

She looks fantabulous, the sculpting is very precise and the colours are beautiful, I love the rich shades in her hair blend. Very pretty!
