Ebay question concerning shipping to another address

Hi all,

since I think there are more people on this site who have done this before, I thought I'd put my question here, would be grateful for any help.

OK, so there's this item on eBay that I really, really, really want. Like, NEED. Unfortunately, the seller will not ship outside of the US, I sent a message asking if they'd consider sending to Europe but no dice. Alright, I thought, no biggie, my brother happens to live in the US at the moment so I could get it sent there, right? Only... how do I go about that? eBay won't let me bid of course because my country is excluded. Could I add his address (to eBay or Paypal?), should I message the seller again and explain, or should I ask my brother to create an account and bid for me?

Perhaps this is obvious, I just don't know what the best course would be Thanks for your help!

Ponylady, just wanted to let you know that the seller is letting me bid now I have added a US address to my eBay account So I can bid, yay! Thanks a lot for offering though, really awesome of you

Might be useful information for other peeps like me so I wanted to put it here- if you provide a US address eBay will let you bid on auction that ship to US only, even if your main address is still abroad
