 How long have you been customizing ponies?
 Almost 2 years now.
 
 
 What got you started?
 My hubby and I attended the 2010 SDCC and I saw the Convention Pony while sitting in the Hasbro line for his toys.  I loved ponies when I was a little girl and decided I had to have her.  When we got home I looked up pony sites and was directed to the Arena.  After browsing the forums I came to the Customs section and was in awe.  I decided I wanted to try one myself and it was all downhill from there lol.
 
 
 Do you enjoy other types of art?
 To be honest, I have never been very good at art.  When I started customizing ponies I was amazed at myself.  I had never been able to translate my ideas onto a surface before.  I don't have any art background or any success in it, but I have since taken a second approach on some fashion designs that I had previously tried to draw.  The result so far has been good and I hope to finish up a few lines that I had ideas for. 
 
 Do you have any favorite customs done by you or another artist?
 Now that is a tough question because there are so many that I love.  I adore the color combinations by Colorscape and Lina.  Ambar_jul has amazing painting skills.  JPP's custom dyed hair is awesome.  Kanthanka's swirls and eponyarts crisp painting make me jealous. NoDivisions ponies are always so perfect.  Jupi's zebras...  I could go on...
 
 
 What inspires you?
 I am most inspired by colors.  Sometimes when I am stuck on a design, I pick the hair first and base the pony on the hair colors I chose.  I often tend to choose darker themes that are complimented with a pop of color.
 
 
 What types of customizing disasters have you run into?
 I haven't run into to too many thankfully.  The usual Xacto cut and gluing myself to ponies.  I once spilled a whole bottle of hot pink Model Masters paint on my cat.  I ot a few scratched from her during her shower lol.
 
 
 Do you have any favorite tips or tricks?
 Don't be afraid to try something.  You can always start over if it doesn't work out right.  I'm no good at fine lines so I often use an Xacto to remove excess paint and straiten my lines.For hair plugs, start small.  You always add more hair to a plug to make it fuller.And don't be afraid to ask questions here!  We were all new once, everyone is happy to help and answer your questions.Oh, and have fun!

Are there any products you just can\'t live without?
My 20/0 paintbrush, I use it for everything.  Createx, Model Masters, Testors paints.  LocTite superglue.  Swarovski Crystals.

What advice do you have for someone just starting to get into customizing?
Just jump in!  Grab a baity pony and start creating.  Don't worry about being perfect yet, dont worry about making it omg amazing yet.  just try everything out.  Use different methods to decide what you like best.  There are so many ways to do things, you have to know what works best for You.
