Beware of Seller advertises rare pony sends....

When i bought this pony on a BIN I couldnt believe my luck, i thought id got a really good buy.....

but i was a little concerned because i saw they had sold the same pony a day earlier, but to a buyer with 0 feedback so i thought maybe they had cancelled the transaction....

I asked the seller if i was being sold the rare greek pony, to which she replied yes and reassured me it was the pony pictured.....

today pony arrives.....

just after my first big exam so utter excitement....







.......flat foot hong kong butterscotch (as if that wasnt bad enough already) with cancer spots


ARGHHHH so annoyed and disappointed!!!
Its not even the money its the hassle of having to send it back etc and it taking time and not even having this beautiful pony that i thought id bought for a bargain.

Ive contacted the seller and i am hoping they will refund me without any quarrels though no response yet, not sure what to do about feedback though...

file a not as described claim with paypal and leave negative feedback imo, I think they were trying to scam you outright.

I have no idea about Nirvana's so I would not be able to tell by the pictures if it was a Greek or just a normal Butterscotch.  But it sounds to me like an old bait and switch in my opinion.
 
I would wait and see what her response is and how she handles the whole situation before I left feedback.  It could be she sent the wrong pony but I am sorta doubtful of that seeing as it is the only pony she had listed.   And she assured you that pony pictured was what you were getting.
 
If you do hear back from her file a Item Not as Describe case, but be aware you will still have to send the pony back and wait till she receives it, then they will release your funds back to you.

Even if seller is not aware of the pony... There are obvious differences between a normal Butterscotch and a Greek one.

I'd fill an "item not as described", and more because you say seller said you'll be getting the pony in the picture...  (actually, it'll be a little fun to compare the Buttersotch she send you to the one pictured on eBay).

I'm not sure about a neg or a neutral, depends on how the seller works about this =S

Really fill an item not as described, the use of a photo of not the actual pony... and claiming she indeed send you the one pictured...  A Butterscotch is NOT a Butterscotch in all places, not does have the same value =S

Oh my goodness! she is a scammer! file a claim right away and leave a neg!  that pic is a real greek Butterscotch and if she supposedly sold it before as well, then it sounds even more dodgy!. ebay will check all of your responses and hers. I would also give ebay a phone call and actually talk to someone about this situation, as well as opening the claim. I'm so sorry hun! this is an awful situation and I hope you get a refund soon!

Ug, you may have already lost with the feedback issue.... never ever mention leaving appropiate feedback in an email as ebay will view it as feedback manipulation. You should still be able to win the SNAD issue. good luck!
