Thanks. The back card shows her with a pink ribbon so I figured that might be it, the cards are not always right though. Do you have this pony yourself or how did you know about the ribbon? :)

All of my accessory information is gathered either from MIB/MOC I have owned or MIB/MOC a couple of friends have owned [neither of whom are really a part of online communities for their own personal reasons]. Between us all we have owned just about every pony this way (me in a smallish way and them in a major way  :P ) and for the handful that we havent actually owned the information has been gathered by other collectors who have the pony MOC/MIB. It has taken me years to put all these details together...  and I dont actually collect MOC/MIB as I only keep them until I can collect the same pony with all his/her accessories loose. At the end of the day like most people here I am a pony collector but I am also an accessory obsessive so this is the kind of information I gather.

Yes, I had Surfdancer and Wavebreaker MIB a few years ago.

I think there are only 3 ponies, from US/Euro/UK that I havent managed to track the accessories down for - 3 of the early German Babies.

It seems you know what you are talking about   :)
So pink ribbon then. Does this mean the backcard is right about the two others as well?

I bought a wavebraker in an auction thinking she was "mib", just opened. When I received her I realized it was more like the pony *with* her box. She had light surface dirt but came out absolutely mint after a quick wash so I didn't bother to contact the seller about it. The shell is the yellow one and has the suction cup, and I got the pink comb and brush so everything right that far. The only thing is, the ribbon I got was yellow, matching the shell. I guess the pink ribbon was missing and the seller threw in a random one she thought would fit.

And oh the box has the original price tag on it, of £4.99. Were they really that cheap....?  ^.^

£4.99 was not cheap in 80s UK!!! Lol...ponies were for special occasions or at least they were in my house. G4s cost £4.97 now! Seems so weird - 30 years, smaller pony, same price!

Sea ponies are a little notorious for having mix and match comb colours - I know on a thread a while ago discussing the comb and brush sets this was mentioned.

I guess you are right about the price. It's confusing as it seems so cheap while of course it isn't if you  take the time leap into account.

I looked at an old ad from the 80s, with its pony prices, I think it was a loving family set, and it was 89 sek. Using a converter that would be 166 sek today...
